Story / Plot Of Brinda
The story begins with a young girl escaping a superstitious village intent on sacrificing her to appease a deity. Years later, this girl becomes Brinda (Trisha Krishnan), a newly appointed sub-inspector in a police station that mandated the inclusion of a female officer. Despite facing gender discrimination and skepticism from her colleagues, Brinda is determined to prove her competence.
Her resolve is tested when a body is discovered in a river. While her superiors are quick to label it a suicide, Brinda’s keen observational skills lead her to suspect foul play. As she delves deeper into the investigation, she uncovers a series of murders linked by a chilling modus operandi. Her pursuit of the truth brings her into contact with enigmatic figures like Prof. Kabir Anand (Indrajith Sukumaran) and the elusive Thakur (Anand Sami).
Throughout the series, Brinda grapples with personal demons, including traumatic memories from her past and strained family relationships, particularly with her younger sister. Her colleague, Sarathi (Ravindra Vijay), emerges as a supportive ally, and together they navigate bureaucratic hurdles and societal prejudices to uncover the dark truths behind the murders.
