Story/ Summary
HIT: The Third Case follows the journey of SP Arjun Sarkaar, a brilliant but emotionally scarred police officer from Visakhapatnam’s Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). Arjun is transferred to Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a gruesome murder that mirrors a past case which continues to haunt him. As the case unravels, he discovers a pattern 13 eerily similar murders committed across the country all pointing toward a chilling and calculated serial killer.
Arjun, battling his inner demons and emotional trauma, is paired with ASP Mrudula, a sharp officer who eventually becomes both an ally and emotional anchor. The investigation takes dark turns as Arjun confronts political pressure, hidden agendas, and a personal connection to the killer’s motive.
With time running out and lives at stake, Arjun must use his instincts and unconventional methods to piece together clues, confront his past, and bring justice before the killer strikes again.
The film ends with a shocking twist that not only closes the current case but also sets up potential threads for the next installment in the HIT Universe.
