After the events of Mookuthi Amman, where the goddess (played by Nayanthara) helped Engels Ramasamy (RJ Balaji) fight against corrupt godmen and revive people’s faith in true spirituality, peace has returned to the town. However, a new threat emerges in the form of a powerful, deceitful billionaire named Raghunath Swami, who poses as a saint while exploiting people for wealth and power.
Raghunath Swami, backed by politicians, launches a massive spiritual empire with fraudulent rituals and promises of miracles. He convinces people to donate their lands and money, claiming that a grand temple must be built for a “new divine prophecy.” Those who oppose him are silenced through threats and black magic.
One day, Engels’ family starts facing strange incidents, and he realizes that Raghunath Swami’s rise is linked to an ancient curse. When he prays for help, Mookuthi Amman returns, this time more powerful and determined to protect the people from falsehood.
Major Twists & Conflict:
- Amman reveals that Raghunath Swami is secretly performing dark rituals to harness divine energy for immortality.
- Engels, his mother, and sisters are forced to fight a legal and spiritual battle against the fake guru.
- The town itself starts witnessing unnatural calamities—dry rivers, failing crops, and an increase in crime—all due to Raghunath’s greed.
- A new character, Vaishnavi (Keerthy Suresh), a fearless journalist, joins Engels to expose the truth.
Climax:
In an intense confrontation, Mookuthi Amman battles the dark forces summoned by Raghunath Swami. With divine intervention, the people regain faith, and the fraudulent empire collapses. The villain meets his end, not by violence, but by his own greed backfiring.
Ending:
The town is restored, and Amman blesses her devotees before disappearing, reminding everyone that faith should come from the heart, not from fear or deception. Engels, now wiser, continues his fight against social injustices, inspired by Amman’s teachings.
