Story of Daaku Maharaaj
In 1996, in the Madanapalle region, MLA Trimurthulu Naidu (Ravi Kishan) and his brother Manohar Naidu exploit a tea estate owned by philanthropist Krishna Murthy (Sachin Khedekar) for illegal activities, including smuggling animal skins and elephant tusks. Upon discovering these illicit operations, Krishna Murthy confronts the Naidu brothers, leading to threats against his family, particularly his young granddaughter, Vaishnavi. To protect her, a mysterious figure named Nanaji (Nandamuri Balakrishna) enters their lives as a driver. Unbeknownst to them, Nanaji is actually Seetha Ram, a former civil engineer who transformed into the feared dacoit, Daaku Maharaaj, after witnessing the atrocities committed by the mining mafia led by Balwant Thakur Singh (Bobby Deol) in the Chambal Valley.
The film unravels Seetha Ram’s journey from a law-abiding engineer to a vigilante dacoit, his mission to bring water and justice to the oppressed villagers, and his connection to Vaishnavi. As Daaku Maharaaj, he confronts both the local political corruption in Madanapalle and the overarching criminal empire of Balwant Thakur Singh, aiming to protect the innocent and avenge past wrongs.
